damn fine coffee

A few weeks ago, I finally started watching Twin Peaks, and though I've only seen three episodes thus far, I find myself quite taken with it (in spite of the creepiness of it all, which nearly robbed me of a few nights' sleep). The characters are intriguing, and cliché as it may be, I adore Audrey Horne - in fact, I am thinking about having my hair styled in the same fashion. Speaking of fashion, the plaid skirts, brogues, waitress' uniforms, and knitted sweaters lend such a wonderful quirkiness to the show.

Pure perfection.

pastels! (part one)

Of all the pictures I've come across online, I would have to say that the pastel-tinted ones grab me the most. I adore deep colors, as well - especially in film stills - but the prettiness of pastels is so undeniably feminine that I feel obliged to show my appreciation.

As it happens, several of my favorite films are near to bursting with these lovely shades.
